There simply is no “one required way” to run Pirate’s Challenge. I strive to make sure Pirate’s Challenge meets the needs of each school.

There are 3 basic methods – which can be adjusted. 1) Students receive no help. 2) Students are told which parts of a question they missed. 3) Students are given “guidance” assistance as determined by the school. Note: Method 3 works best if you have additional staff or parent volunteer Answer Checkers. Pick what is right for you and your students.
